Finally! We're back on road! And directly to the season prelude it went also in a rather large group on the runway. At the bridge met: Kai, Ralph, Helmut, Hans, Gregor, Jens, Uwe, Karsten, Daniel, Norman, Julia, Andreas and mine one (so the order on the group photo further down).
With twelve bikes we started over Potsdam, Fahrland, Uetz, Paretz and Ketzin, further over the racing course to Tremmen, we bent off heading south at Gohlitz and inserted a first smoker break after Päwesin.
Further over Bollmannsruh, Beetzseeheide, Butzow and Radewege to our goal Brielow. We turned our Moppeds off before the kindergarten.
Because directly behind the kindergarten the church is to be found with the cemetery (hopefully no long-term educational defects leaves on the village youth). On the cemetery the "Sweden lime tree" stands.
A tree, which is about 500 years old and with its trunk extent of 13 meters counts as the thickest of the today's Mark Brandenburg. The today's nature memorial received its name from the historical tradition that the widow of a Swedish officer, who was fallen in the Thirty Years War, buries her husband under this already at that time very large and remarkable tree, in order to find the grave again.
After a group photo
we returned to our motorcycles
for our lunch break at the nearby restaurant with the same name ("Zur Schwedenlinde").
By the way the restaurant is very recommendable! It has a really large offer and low prices. And it tasted good.
Strengthened it went then on the way direction home. Some took the direct way over the nearby motorway close to Brandenburg. With a smaller group the tour continued to north via Marzahne, Garlitz, Nennhausen, Kotzen and Rhinsmuehlen and then on the B5 again to southeast. The well-known "Flash Forrest" made honour of its name. On that scarcely 15 km we passed by five cameras.
At Berge we turned off to Potsdam and inserted briefly before the stone path a last short break.
Up to now the weather was very pleasant. Even if we did not come directly into the rain, the roads were to be taken with more caution, because they became wet from the fresh fallen rain. At Etzin we inserted a short fuel stop
before we returned via Potsdam to the bridge. There where a lot of people. But for the first April weekend and enriched again with the season drivers and with this beautiful weather, nothing else was to be expected.
After a short (or longer) smalltalk it went home again after altogether 177 km. This season prelude was very funny and coming weekend expects us with the celebration on castle Rabenstein another highlight.

Gern geschehen! Aber Du bist hier im englischsprachigen Bereich
gelandet. In der Rubrik Ost-Deutschland gibt es natürlich auch
noch einen deutschen Bericht.
Gruß Ron |
