The sky doesn't seems to be very promising in the morning at the bridge. But with faith in the validity of the weather forecast Nancy, Dani, Hardy, Alex and me started to hit the road.
In went to south over motorway and shortly at Gueterfelde back ob smaller roads. Via Schenkenhorst and Struveshof we reached Ludwigsfelde for a first fuel stop, because on the following way fuel stations are really scarce goods.
We continued passing Loewenbruch, Groß Schulzendorf, Dabendorf, Telz, Toepchin, circled Teupitz lake in the south and entered the area of Spree Forrest. Time for a short break.
More over Maerkisch Buchholz, Koethen and Groß Wasserburg we took some beautiful forrest roads to Schlepzig, where we inserted a coffee stop at the "Biker Meeting Point".
Across Spree Forrest the road guided as along Hauptspree (Main Spree) over a lot of small side rivers. We turned heading east to Krugau, Groß Leuthen (with homonymous lake), Guhlen, Doberburg and Lieberose and afterwards on a faster piece on B168 passing the impressive power plant of Jaenschwalde with its nine blocks reaching Heinersbrück our today aim. Here the viewpoint of the surface mining of Jaenschwalde is located with a great view into the coal-mine with the giant dredger.
Unfortunatly the dredger pushed along for a kilometer since the last 24 hours. The day before another impressive view was given.
We continued the trip and drove over Teichland and through a bautiful lake area to Lakoma. The way leaded us over rough cobblestone, which was taken easy by us.
More through Cottbus passing Sielow, Dissen and Fehrow we reached a beer-garden just after Schmogrow, where we inserted our lunch break.
When we just haved finish lunch, we saw a blue 12 GS riding on the parking lot. Our first suspicion was confirmed: it has been Helmut, who started at noon in Berlin to meet us.
After we solved a little lighting problem we went together heading home. Via Byhleguhre-Byhlen (what a name) and Straupitz passing Neu-Zauche and Radensdorf weg get at Luebben on B115, where we could shorten the long way home by giving speed on that road. At Baruth/Mark weg et back on smaller roads and after Lynow, Stuelpe, Luckenwalde and Berkenbrueck we reached Dobbrikow, where we stopped for a coffee.
Afterwards it went back to the bridge on known roads, including a beauty dangle over Blankensee. Back at the bridge we noticed, that it had been dry on all of our 360 kilometers and also the sun has shown ist face from time to time.
Up to next time!
